PeggyRae Johnson is the owner of Professionally Speaking.  As a professional actor and master coach, PeggyRae brings passion and experience to helping others improve their spoken communications.  She has been a trainer and private consultant in interpersonal communications skills serving New England and the North East for over 25 years. 

With over 220 theatre and television productions, voice-overs, commercials, and industrials to her credit, PeggyRae provides her clients both knowledge and experience.  Clients have included Simon and Schuster Audio Division, Wang Institute of Graduate Studies, Delta Dental, Lowell University, Opus 2, the NH Board of Realtors, Unitil Corporation, Magnavox, the NH Center for Training and Development, and the American Institute of Banking. 

Additionally, PeggyRae has over 20 years of teaching post-secondary education.  She has taught Public Speaking, Communications, Voice & Diction, Acting, and Oral Interpretation at Parkland College, Champaign, IL, University of Illinois, University of New Hampshire, and Salem State College, Salem, MA.  Currently, she serves as an Artist-in-Residence in the Theatre and Dance Departments of Keene State College, in Keene, NH, and Franklin Pierce University, in Rindge, NH.  

PeggyRae received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University and her master’s degree from University of Illinois, where she graduated summa cum laude.  PeggyRae received a Faculty of the Year Award from the American Institute of Banking, Manchester Chapter, a meritorious Faculty of the Year Award from the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the National Acting Faculty Fellowship from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
